Getting There

Welcome to Chicago!
AKA The Windy City! AKA Chi-Town! AKA Chiberia! AKA Second City! AKA… Smelly Onion?!
These are all names for the special place that we call home!

Planes
If you're traveling by plane, you have two options: O'hare or Midway.

  • O'hare has you landing in the northwest side of the city. It is large and can be hard to navigate.

  • Midway has you landing in the southwest side of the city. Midway is significantly smaller than O'hare, making it a little easier to navigate.

From either airport you can take a rideshare (Uber, Lyft, Curb), taxi, or the train into the city proper.

Trains

Amtrak has several routes that will drop you at Union Station downtown.
This might be a good option for folks living in the Midwest.

Automobiles
If you're down for a road trip, you can always drive into the city!

Keep in mind that many areas in the city require a parking permit, and garages can be quite expensive. You can use SpotHero, but it can be pricey as well.

(Driving into and around the city can be stressful; we do not recommend driving)
